A choir of 250 singers from Balti, Straseni, Floresti and Chisinau and the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra musicians performed the most beautiful Christmas carols. The performance took place at the second Christmas concert during the annual festival held with the support by Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.

The surprise was authored by American conductor Andrew Koehler who combined harmoniously the instrumental and choir music.
Andrew Koehler commended high artistic talents of Moldovan youth. «It is my pleasure to be here. The musicians are very talented and the orchestra is great. The experience is unforgettable. I combined the local and foreign folklore although I do not quite speak Romanian».

The audience at the Chisnau Organ hall was elated by the voices and prowess of performers.  «It's a wonderful evening, soulful music. I enjoyed the evening greatly. I am for the first time at such a concert and the evening is wonderful».

To conclude the concert the performers were awarded diplomas and presents.
«We have a new and diverse concert program. We perform classical music close to the Christmas feel and works composed for Christmas by composers of various genres and approaches», explained Adriano Marin, the artistic director of the coral and musical association.

Till the end of the year, the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra will perform again at the Organ hall on December 28. The performance will be supported by Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” .
