The Hanganu family lives in the Calimanesti village, Nisporeni district. The four little children - Victoria, Valentina, Gabriel and Ana-Maria have recently remained without mother, and now their only support is their father, Grigore.
Our team found out about this sad case from the journalists from Teleradio Moldova who launched the “Fii bun, dăruieşte binele” (Be kind, give the good”) campaign and asked us to involve and give them joy before the holiday.
The situation of the children made a very strong impression on us, so we went to visit them to get to know them better. We found there four beautiful, kind and vigorous children. The eldest Victoria is 11-year-old, Valentina is 5-year-old, Gabriel is 4-year-old, and the youngest Ana-Maria is 2-year-old.
Victoria is the main support of her father in the household, and she proudly showed us everything she can do at such a young age.
“I help him to do the dishes, sweep, do the cleaning and take care of my sisters and my brother. They love soup, borsch, stewed potatoes and fries. I can make fried eggs, stewed potatoes and fries. My mother taught me, and now my dad is teaching me”.
We brought gifts for Victoria, and her sisters and brother to make them smile and products that were missing from their house. Our team came with a fridge, a stove, food and sweets for their holiday table.
The children were very pleased with our surprise and with the received gifts, so besides thanks and smiles they made our day more beautiful reciting even some poems.
The father of the family was very pleased with our visit and gifts, which, he says, will help them a lot in the household.
“These things that were brought are very welcome, because these are the things we needed in our family. The stove, the fridge, the products that have been brought, everything is welcome because they are really necessary. Thanks to these gifts we will also have a happy Easter and will feel better and happier”.
We are glad that we met the Hanganu family and that we managed to make such a pleasant surprise before the Easter Holidays.
“Every time we have an occasion, we line up and support people who are in need. Mr. Hanganu really needs help, he remained with four little children. We wish them to stay united, be healthy and pass together over the critical moments that they are currently facing”, the Edelweiss Executive Director Lidia Cucos.
