The Edelweiss team inaugurated the first of the 12 playgrounds and sports grounds promised by the founder Vlad Plahotniuc
05 September 2018Only a few months ago during the Days of the Nisporeni town the Edelweiss founder Vlad Plahotniuc has promised a special gift to the children of the town - playgrounds in the courtyards of the apartment houses. The Foundation’s team began to work and inaugurated already the first of the 12 yards arranged exactly according to the wishes of the little ones. With great joy this place was met by the local children, as well as their parents, who say that having such a place next to the house they can let them play without worrying about them.

“Very nice, I like it very much, there are many opportunities to play and you can have fun here, it’s very good”.
“This gift is wow, cool, modern and we’re in line with civilization and it’s really cool, it’s long-awaited by all kids”, said one of the mothers who came to inauguration.
Even if they can no longer enjoy the playgrounds like the little ones, the elderly of the neighbourhood are delighted to see that their town is developing and becomes more and more beautiful every day.
“I have been living in this yard for 36 years and something like this never happened”, said one old lady who came at the inauguration event.
The new project implemented by the Foundation in Nisporeni town is appreciated by both citizens and authorities. The mayor and the district chairman are grateful for the support provided by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” to the local community.
“This project is a desirable one, because after the communist period inside the residential blocks there was never built a playground”, said Gheorghe Robu.
“I want to thank the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” on behalf of the District Council for the substantial contribution that was made to the Nisporeni district, the children of the Nisporeni district”, said Ghenadie Verdes.
The Executive Director of Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc Lidia Cucos said at the inauguration event about the desire of the Edelweiss Foundation and its Founder to offer via this project one more pleasure to the young families from Nisporeni.
“The Edelweiss Founder wanted and had a nice initiative to contribute to the happiness of the families here in Nisporeni by building playgrounds and fitness yards. And as we know him to be a bitter ender and a man of his word today we are attending the inauguration of the first such ground in the Nisporeni town”.
