The team of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” has visited the Institute of Mother and Child in Chisinau
26 September 2018Two years ago when we launched “A New Life” campaign at the Institute of Mother and Child we wanted the Foundation’s gesture to bring joy and make happy the mothers who give birth in this maternity ward. During these years we met thousands of families and just as many life stories, which encouraged us to continue and expand our campaign across the country.
În urmă cu doi ani, când am lansat campania „ O nouă viaţă” la IMC, ne doream ca gestul pe care Fundaţia îl face să aducă bucurie şi să facă fericite mamele care nasc în această maternitate. Pe parcursul acestor ani am întâlnit mii de familii şi tot atâtea poveşti de viaţă, care pe noi ne-au încurajat să continuăm şi să extindem campania în toată ţara.
Am fost din nou la maternitatea unde această frumoasă aventură a început şi am urat „Bun venit pe lume” altor bebeluşi frumoşi şi sănătoşi. Am întâlnit alte mămici vesele, zâmbitoare şi surprinse de cadoul pe care îl oferă Fundaţia fiecărui nou-născut.
Ana Codainic este mama unui băieţel de şase ani şi a adus pe lume al doilea băiat. Dar cutia- cadou din partea Edelweiss este pentru prima dată când o primeşte şi a fost extrem de încântată de acest dar folositor.
„Evident că este o surpriză plăcută, cum e şi pentru alte mămici. Pampers, desigur că pampersurile merg cel mai bine. Este şi o plăpumioară. E bine gândit, e bine aranjat, chiar ceea ce trebuie din primele zile de naştere ale unui copil", a spus Ana Codainic.
Mama lui Darius Guriţanu a fost extrem de fericită să vadă că se gândeşte cineva să dea o mână de ajutor celor care vin acum pe lume, dar şi părinţilor. Cutia cadou a ajuns la proaspătul membru al familiei şi toată lumea s-a bucurat.
„Un cadou e întotdeauna binevenit pentru un nou-născut şi pentru o familie tânără, nici nu se discută. Mulţumim fondatorului dumneavoastră, Vlad Plahotniuc, că se gândeşte pentru viitoarea generaţie, o susţine când apare pe lume şi mulţumim foarte mult", a spus Olesea Guriţanu.

We have visited again the maternity hospital where this beautiful adventure started and gave “Welcome to this world” wishes to other beautiful and healthy babies. We met other cheerful and smiling mothers which were surprised by the gift offered by the Foundation to each newborn.
Ana Codainic is the mother of a six-year-old boy and she gave birth to the second boy. But it is the first time she receives the gift box from Edelweiss and she was very excited about this useful gift.
“Obviously it is a pleasant surprise, as it is for other mothers. Pampers, of course, pampers are the most necessary. There is also a blanket. It’s well thought out, it’s well-arranged, exactly what a child needs in the first days after birth”, said Ana Codainic.
Darius Guritanu’s mother was extremely happy to see someone thinking of giving help to those who are now coming to the world but also to their parents. The gift box reached the fresh family member and everyone enjoyed it.
“A gift is always appreciated for a newborn and for a young family; it’s out of the question. We thank your founder Vlad Plahotniuc for the fact he is thinking about the future generation, he supports the children when they are born”, said Olesea Guritanu.
Mothers are not the only ones who experience strong emotions at the birth of a baby, the dads are also excited just waiting to know their little ones. There was one of such fathers we met and congratulated him for his beautiful family.
Eugen Gutu is already a father of three children and was glad to receive extra support from the Edelweiss team and all the necessary things from the gift box. “Financially, it is quite difficult so to say. We have to spend an amount of money which is not large, but a considerable one. Any little help is appreciated”, he said.
The Edelweiss project manager Dorina Postu also came to visit the families from the Institute of Mother and Child. “We are glad that this campaign is being accepted with great love and the things, the care products are essential for babies. We will continue to offer the gift boxes in all 24 maternity wards of the country”.
