Marius, Anastasia and Alexandrina, the triplets from the Surugiu family for whom the founder of Edelweiss Vlad Plahotniuc is godfather, were visited by representatives of the Foundation accompanied by none other than Santa Claus.
The children were excited to meet Santa Claus and the Edelweiss team again – they rushed to show how well they behaved this year and what poems and carols they learned.
“Steaua sus răsare, ca o taină mare/ Steaua străluceşte şi lumii vesteşte”, echoed in chorus the Surugiu family.
Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation and Santa Claus surprised the three children with baskets full of gifts: Lego, books, sweets and a wonderful fir tree ready to be adorned.
“I am very glad because I have received the “Lego Minecraft” that I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. Today Santa Claus arrived to my house and this makes me so happy!” said Marius, 6 year old child.
Tatiana Surugiu, the mother of the triplets thanked the godfather of her children, Vlad Plahotniuc, for always being by their side and supporting them.
“We are grateful to the “Edelweiss” Foundation and to our godfather for helping us with everything we need”, said the mother of the children.
The Founder of Edelweiss has been by the family’s side since the birth of the triplets. He has donated his salary as Parliament member to the family and has offered the necessary support in order to help them overcome the financial burden.
This is the fifth family that the Edelweiss Foundation has visited during this year’s “Christmas House” campaign. This campaign is meant to bring Christmas joy in community centers and needy families across the country.
