Students of the School of Edelweiss Ambassadors have enjoyed training on financial education. They have learned how to manage their budget properly, how they can make their first savings and what actually financial negotiation means.
These lessons are the second part of the training program for starting a business, after young people had sketched earlier within a seminar the plans for starting their own business. 

Along with the trainer Alexandru Bordea, from whom the students had asked to receive advice, the participants acknowledged the importance to draft a personal income and expenses budget which is the primary element in developing a future business.
“This training has changed my perception of money and I understood that I can reach my goals through financial resources obtained from my own work”, said Liuba Manic, a young participant in the School of Edelweiss Ambassadors programs.

“Every time we meet within the events organised by the Edelweiss team I convince myself that I am a lucky person because I was selected for this project. Thanks to today’s training I realized how important is to invest in my own personality”, said Elena Chiosa.
In his turn, the trainer Alexandru Bordea spoke about the importance of this training: “Financial education should be an object necessary for children in school and then at university and generally in their life. There are some simple things young people need to understand, how exactly they can earn own money at an early age. And with this personal experience it will be much easier to find the keys to success”.

The seminar was carried out for the student of the first edition of the School of Edelweiss Ambassadors. The young participants are attending the IX-th grade and were selected on a competitive basis among the schools from Hincesti district to take part in career guidance courses. The School of Edelweiss Ambassadors is a project launched for the first time this year by the Vlad Plahotniuc’s Foundation in order to encourage the young people to follow an appropriate profession after completing their studies.
