An Edelweiss playground for all the little ones in Telenesti town

Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation inaugurated the nineteenth playground for children in Telenesti town right near a kindergarten and a school.
The little ones were very enthusiastic about the new playground: “I really like the swing and the slide, and also the coloured balloons that I received today”, said a 6-year-old girl Catiusa.
Besides the approximately 50 children present at the inauguration, the Edelweiss Park was an attraction for the adults as well. “It is something beautiful. There is one more park in Telenesti, but this is much more special”, said Mariana Stratulat.
The local authorities had only words of praise and thanks to Edelweiss for the fact that a playground for children has been opened in their town. “This project was waited both by children and parents. We thank the Edelweiss Foundation, which is not for the first time in Telenesti. Besides this Park the foundation’s paediatric cabinet visited recently three villages from our district and provided free consultations to the little ones. We appreciate the beautiful gestures made by foundation”, said Ecaterina Furculita, the vice president on social affairs in Telenesti district.
The “Edelweiss Parks” social campaign is implemented at national level and involves installation of 40 playgrounds for children in several towns across the country. According to the founder of Edelweiss Vlad Plahotniuc this new social project aims to help parents by ensuring the children with spaces where they can play outdoors in complete safety.
