The best drawings made by children on the topic “Protected Families” were displayed in an exhibition open to the public by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
During three weeks hundreds of pictures illustrating what it means for pupils across the country to grow up in a happy family were sent at the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”. Those who have sent the pictures participated in this way in the “Protected Families” National pupil’s painting competition.
The competition was launched by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” in the middle of November and it aims to promote the values that underlie a happy family. The action takes place within the information campaign conducted by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” at national level against domestic violence.
At the Republican Centre for Children and Youth “Artico” in Chisinau the visitors could admire the children’s drawings from all over the country, which reminded them their childhood and the beautiful moments experienced with their families: “The works are very beautiful, cheerful, colourful, it renders a festive atmosphere, the importance of the family and home in the child’s life”.
The exhibition will last until December 25, and it can be visited without any payment. The winners will be announced in the Christmas Day both on www.edelweiss.md, as well as on the Facebook page of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
