The mobile paediatric cabinet “Revive Moldova” reached again Ialoveni district where doctors provided consultations to a large number of children from villages. The Edelweiss founder Vlad Plahotniuc also visited Ialoveni district today together with the team of paediatricians.

He personally thanked the paediatricians and medical assistants for joining the Edelweiss Foundation, which for 6 months already are visiting the village from the Republic of Moldova to consult children, which other way wouldn’t have access to specialized medicine.

“There are already six months since these doctors go to villages of the country. What I heard in this six months – and what I saw today – impressed me. We have doctors who work hard, I imagine that it is not easy to provide so many consultations in a single day, but they are involved and do the job, manage to help. We have cases when doctors managed even to prevent serious complications in some children thanks to these timely consultations”, said Vlad Plahotniuc. The Edelweiss founder referred to the nearly 10 cases where paediatricians have saved children’s lives after they have discovered extremely serious diseases and recommended appropriate treatments.

“This social project is welcomed; any specific help provided to mothers with children is welcomed. The Revive Moldova Cabinet should further expand, the trailer should be bigger”, recommended some of the parents from Ialoveni district. The Edelweiss founder reminded them that he is determined to support the continuation of this social project for children, “as long as needed”. “I will get involved and I assure you that we will do everything possible to provide these free medical consultations to children from the countryside”, specified Vlad Plahotniuc.

The “Revive Moldova” Social Project was launched by the Vlad Platotniuc’s Foundation in April this year. Since that time the Mobile paediatric cabinet reached 99 localities and more than 6.800 children from the rural area received free consultations.
