More than 750 children from socially vulnerable families and their parents had the possibility to watch the “The Nutcracker” play free of charge due to Edelweiss Foundation

The action is part of “TOGETHER WE SUCCEED” Public Awareness Campaign launched by Edelweiss Foundation in collaboration with PRIME TV station. On Sunday, November 21, more than 750 children from socially vulnerable families were the special guests at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Valeria Seican, General Manager of National Opera and Ballet Theatre: “When you have around several organizations that share the same vision, life concepts, the same values promotional concepts we are and feel stronger, we become more accessible. I would like to cordially thank Edelweiss Foundation for supporting us in this cause and open the way to these values to all the people who are eager to see the show”.
Maria Caftanat, Artistic Director, National Opera and Ballet Theatre: “It is a huge difference between the way adults and children applaud. We invite to come and listen to the applauses of kids. With their warm tiny hands they throw candies on the scene after the performance. You understand that they learn to become better! ”
The event took place due “EDELWEISS” Foundation’s financial support in amount of 100 thousand lei and the main goal that stood behind this idea is to integrate children from socially vulnerable families from all over the country into society’s cultural life.

“EDELWEISS” Foundation promises a number of cultural events that will be implemented and carried out during Christmas holidays.
