“Edelweiss” Parks were opened in Ciocana and Botanica sectors
30 August 2016Children that live and study in several neighbourhoods from Ciocana and Botanica sectors will be able to play henceforth on modern playgrounds installed right next to their kindergartens and houses. There were opened two “Edelweiss” Parks within the project of Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation for children of the Republic of Moldova.

Children that live and study in several neighbourhoods from Ciocana and Botanica sectors will be able to play henceforth on modern playgrounds installed right next to their kindergartens and houses. There were opened two “Edelweiss” Parks within the project of Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation for children of the Republic of Moldova.
The playground installed in Botanica sector is located at the intersection of Cuza Voda and Sarmizegetusa streets, and that from Ciocana sector was inaugurated right near a kindergarten on Alecu Russo Street, 57.
Both playgrounds are equipped with brand new swings and slides, which the little ones did not hesitate to test immediately after inauguration.
“I like this playground because it is very colourful and attractive”, says one of the children.
The parents were also pleased appreciating the fact that these playgrounds are modern, interestingly designed and qualitative. “We are pleased that children enjoy a new playground. This is a great joy for them. One can seen that the park is beautifully landscaped and very safe, and this is very important for us”, said one mother present at the parks opening.
So far, within the project initiated by Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation 14 playgrounds were inaugurated following that in the next period 26 other playgrounds to be installed in several towns of the country.
