Several young people within the School of Edelweiss Ambassadors were initiated in leadership and entrepreneurship within the “Start-up for a successful business” Project, which is financed by Vlad Pahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation and aims to develop young people’s entrepreneurial and managerial skills.

During the meeting pupils learned about opportunities to initiate a business, analyzed practical examples of successful businesses around the world and learned many useful things about a career development.
“I learned a lot of things, first of all I understood that if you want something and you obtained it, than you shouldn’t stop there. You must want more. I’m thinking to develop a business in my locality because after these discussions my mind is filled with different ideas that I could implement. Maybe even a project similar to Edelweiss”, said confidently one of the young participants in this program.

In his turn, the trainer Doru Curoşu remained fascinated by the experience of dialogue with youth Edelweiss ambassadors.  “I really liked the group of pupils. They come from rural areas and have certain expectations, and this is important. They have already managed to learn some things and I very much hope that they will put it into practice”, said the specialist.  He spoke to young people about the daily reading, which is very important for their professional development.

The Program initiated by the Vlad Pahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation aims to increase pupils’ confidence in their chances for success and is part of a larger project launched this year to encourage the young people to choose an appropriate career.
