Victor Munteanu, an architecture student at Strasbourg and winner of multiple awards at national and international competitions, was rewarded for his performance by Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation. Victor received a merit scholarship worth 20 000 lei.

Victor’s dream is to become a good architect so that he will be able to change the image of Chişinău, his hometown. “As an architect, I want to implement ecology in architecture, and to make buildings out of recyclable materials, reusable, organic. I decided to study in Strasbourg because there is a very strong school of architecture”, said Victor Munteanu.

Victor appeared to be decided about his first investment with the money received from Edelweiss Foundation. “Architecture requires not only time, not only energy, but also many materials for projects,  cardboards, models, paper,  watercolor”, gladly said the young architect after receiving the aid.
Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation periodically provides support for young talented and studious people, both through social campaigns on a national level as well as through donations and scholarships.
