
Alexandrina Ghetoi is 15 years old and is already the vice European champion in gymnastics. In the course of the recent years, the performance of Alexandrina Ghetoi brought Moldova’s flag high up, on the stages of international competitions. Alexandrina’s performances and results can bring in future the title of Olympic Champion, which she only dream of obtaining. Edelweiss Foundation has awarded her achievements and is supporting her dreams by offering a one year scholarship in the framework of the “Your success is the success of Moldova” campaign.
Who is Alexandrina Ghetoi? A young talented lady, who is in love with gymnastics from the age of 6, when she first stepped in a gym. The young athlete is being coached by Natalia Podgainaia- Master of Sports of International Category, Champion in rhythmic gymnastics. The professors state that Alexandrina is a very ambitious young lady, who practice four hours a day, but never complained on muscle ache, and never dropped a tear. It seams that she learned to fight for achievements from her father, former famous athlete of Soviet Union, who left sports and found a job at a security company.
Alexandrina Ghetoi is the third young person who was awarded y Edelweiss Foundation in the course of the current year. The scholarship offered by Edelweiss is a way to support the talented young people of Moldova.
