The Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” has awarded the fourth winner of “The most beloved of the teachers” contest
19 January 2018Elena Eremia who is a teacher of Romanian language and literature at the “Vasile Alecsandri” High School from Colibasi village, Cahul district was named as the fourth winner of “The most beloved of the teachers” contest carried out by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.

Elena Eremia who is a teacher of Romanian language and literature at the “Vasile Alecsandri” High School from Colibasi village, Cahul district was named as the fourth winner of “The most beloved of the teachers” contest carried out by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
“Congratulations, Mrs. Elena! We wish you to have many beautiful disciples which can fully appreciate your pedagogical merits and everything you do for them”, said the Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” Lidia Cucos.
In addition to the title and appreciation of the pupils, colleagues and the Foundation Elena Eremia received a laptop from Edelweiss which will be useful to prepare the lessons.
The surprise deeply touched the teacher. “I knew there was such a project, that there was this contest, but I did not think I could benefit from something like that. When you have your personal laptop it’s easier to do a lesson, and especially when today’s modernism makes us keep up to the times”, explains modestly the teacher.
Elena Eremia is an example to follow for her pupils. “She is not only a teacher of Romanian language, but she is also our form mistress, she is like a mother to us. Many times I happened to call her outside the classroom activities and even if it was late or she was with her family she was always ready to help me, to give a good advice”, said the pupil of the 12th “A” grade Veronica.
The high school administration has only compliments to say about the teacher especially that so far dozens of generations have passed the baccalaureate examinations with honours. “Elena Eremia is certainly a very good teacher. She has the first pedagogical degree, and I hope she will obtain the highest degree because she deserves it. Her students have to say only best words and compliments about her. I expected this project to reach us. Thank you Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc.”, said Ana Grigorita the headmaster of the “Vasile Alecsandri” High School from Colibasi village, Cahul district.
The Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” has launched “The most beloved of the teachers” contest in September last year meant for teachers in our country. Under this contest other 6 teachers will be awarded. To get the prize pupils have to make a short movie showing their gratitude to a particular teacher and along with a recommendation letter send it to the Foundation.
